Maybe it was in-the-cards that LaDonna Luckman become an entertainer. She spent most of her adolescent years in Louisiana & Texas and went to high school in a town close to the West Virginia border, in the shadow of the Southern Allegheny Mountains. Her mom lives in Tennessee about an hour from Nashville. Her two younger sisters live in North Carolina. With siblings and her stepfather who all played the guitar and her mom who loved to dance, there was always music in the house. For LaDonna the passion to be a singer began when she was 8 years old. Her influences run from Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt to Aretha Franklin, Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders), Janis Joplin and she loves Gretchen Wilson and Pam Tillis too! Now after 15 years professional experience it's obvious to anyone who has seen her perform, the talent is there too! During the summer of 2006 LaDonna and her band, Luck Of The Draw -great players in their own right -appeared at The Washington County Fair in Richmond RI, Indian Ranch in Webster MA and Hampton Beach in NH and now she's building a following at Tequila's, the hottest country dance club in northern Massachusetts.
